Gemma Lynn : 3 on 6/21/2025 12:39 pm Now, the room was beautiful 316 and had a great view of nearby beach. But we ran into a few challenges:
1. Parking and overflow parking were all full despite my reservation saying parking was included. (They provided me with a parking permit, but no hotel spots were available)
2.Town of Dewy parking page that was provided to me (by front desk attendant at check in) for street parking mentioned a “day” pass. But when I attempted to get a day pass on app it was not an option. This resulted in a parking violation.

Update:
Hotel helped me find resolution to my parking violation. Be sure if you stay in Dewey beach to alert your hotel if there are no parking spaces designated for hotel. They can help. If you have multiple vehicles find a kiosk (I think locations of these are on app) because you will need one in order to get a day pass. Otherwise city plays no games about its parking enforcement.
Enjoy the beautiful beach area that is not as crowded as other local beaches!

We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchenette, complete with utensils, glassware, and a convenient Keurig coffee maker. The full-size refrigerator and microwave allowed us to easily prepare light meals and snacks, saving us money and giving us flexibility. The breathtaking ocean view, visible from our room's large windows, was a constant source of delight. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night sleep.
The Surf Club's location is unbeatable for beach lovers. The beach is quite literally an extension of the hotel's backyard, providing immediate and easy access to the sand and surf. Beyond the hotel, we found an array of charming restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, offering a wonderful variety of dining options.
Whether you're a family seeking a relaxing beach getaway or a couple looking for a romantic escape, the Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel offers an exceptional experience. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return ourselves!
