We visited for a second time after staying elsewhere for a few years. The staff is very nice. The location is great, with a quick walk to all of the most popular restaurants, as well as the beach. If you do stay here, I would definitely recommend a bay view room, as the pool view rooms are right on top of the pool - providing no privacy, and potentially resulting in fair amount of noise. Now, the reason I’m giving it 3-stars is because the rooms are in desperate need of some updating. Everything in our room was definitely showing its age. I don’t expect anything fancy at all from a beach establishment like this, but I also think it’s a shame that no efforts have been made to update it at all - especially when charging the rates they do. So, definitely not a bad stay overall. But, as an another reviewer said, while you’re mostly paying for the location, expect a small, very outdated room you’d see at an older roadside motel.

I spent three nights at this hotel with my wife and 3 year old son. We tried to make the best of it because of the great service and the convenient location, but ultimately we were disappointed with the condition of our room. It was a poolside king efficiency on the first floor. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned and the stove was dirty. Some of the tiles around the front door were missing or cracked. The sliding glass door facing the pool did not lock well and the rod that was available to secure it was incredibly difficult to adjust. We booked our room because the hotel had great ratings, but our room in particular left a lot to be desired. It got to the point where my wife was actually uncomfortable unpacking. Needless to say, we won't be back.

A Pros & Cons review. Stayed for 7 days with a reservation my sister in-law made for us. Pros-Great location with access to everything in walking distance. Beautiful view of the Bay from our first floor patio. Rooms are comfortable, but need a little upgrade. Office staff were tentative to our needs and friendly.
Cons-This place is pet friendly and basically a resort for dogs. I'm a pet lover and a owner of dogs all my life. But there are no rules or regulations enforced. Bay patio rooms is the only grassy area for the dogs, so owner will play and walk their dogs to pee & poop right in front of on your patio and on the bays beach area. So you can only imagine the smell. I do not recommend walking bare footed or digging in the sand what so ever. Many will walk dogs without a leash. Owner in balcony above me decided to groom his dog with fur coming down from balcony and into my drink on one day and then onto my drying bathing suits the next. There are no poop bag stations, I woke up one morning to have my coffee and sit on my patio to enjoy bay view and was greeted with a pile of poop right at my patio. There are no signs except for one hidden in bushes. There is one sign that clearly stayes no dogs by pool. Well one owner felt it was ok to bring dog next to pool and even tried to coax him into the water while other guests were there.
Motel needs better enforcement on pet owners and if they don't abide then there should be a fine placed on their stay. Just like if smoking in room. It's not the dogs fault, it's the owners. No courtesy for other guests. Must have better rules and enforcement of them.
