Inn at Rehoboth

This is the landlord special of hotels. If we weren’t so exhausted we would have left. They painted over hair in the bathroom. You better be up to date on your tetanus shot to use the toilet paper. The shower left you feeling like it’s better to bathe in the ocean. I didn’t want to turn on the AC because it was moldy inside. Floors were so dirty I just threw out my socks out. Didn’t ask my husband for his ID when he asked for a new key… Horrible don’t stay here! Just shut down and properly renovate please!

We stayed here because it was one of the only hotels left. First it was 300+ a night which is fine but it was dirty and run down. After the first night, we left towels and hoped they would make the bed and just freshen up the room (not like it was Dirty or anything) but we came back to find the cleaners hair all over and nothing cleaned except we were given a set of towels. I personally would recommend elsewhere, you can have a much better hotel for the price you pay. I will say the front desk person was very nice so she saved this place from a 1 star.

While traveling through Rehoboth DE we stopped and stayed at Hotel Wave in August 2025. Paying 178.83 for this room was totally ridiculous. The door to our room looked like someone tried to break in. The bathroom door would not close. The door handle to the bathroom was about to fall off. There was hair on the shower shampoo dispenser and mold/dirt around the tub faucet. To top it off, at breakfast the next morning, there were ants all over the counter with the food. We did tell the desk clerk and they came and took away the container with the donuts and pastries. After bringing it back, I went back, and still, ants were all over the counter again. Staff was again informed. At this point, we just packed up and left. A hotel in this shape is just uncalled for. People work hard and save to enjoy their vacation and hotels charge this price for a place in this condition is very sad. I would never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone. Whoever owns this hotel should be ashamed of themselves.
