Epitomizing the soul of Dogfish Head since 1995, Brewings & Eats originated as the smallest commercial brewery in the United States and the beginning of the Dogfish Head story. Brewing only two or three 10 gallon batches a day on a glorified homebrew system, Dogfish founder Sam Calagione had the flexibility to indulge his off-centered whims, wandering into the brewpub’s kitchen to grab handfuls of raisins, a cup of maple syrup, and even a scoop (or two) of roasted chicory.

It wasn’t long before Sam’s ever-hungry imagination lead him to experimenting with small batch vodkas, gins and rums, and in 2002 he began honing recipes and building a loyal cadre of spirit drinkers among guests. Serving up a menu of wood-grilled dishes and live music on the weekends, Brewings & Eats became known as the home of Original Beer, Original Spirits, Original Food and Original Music.

After over two decades in Rehoboth, we opened the new Brewings & Eats right next door to our original space with the same commitment to world-class food, beer, spirits and music. Our scratch-made brewpub menu features original pub fare like our Crab Corn Chowder, Seafood Tacos, House Baked Pretzel Bites and wood-grilled Indulgence Burger, alongside a selection of wood-fired pizzas from our stone hearth oven, sandwiches and tacos, soups and salads, and entrees! Phew! Stop by for a selection of off-centered ales including cask beers and Brewpub Exclusives only available at Brewings & Eats, as well as creative cocktails. We can fill up your Crowler or growler to-go!

Throughout the pub, you’ll find artwork celebrating the creative, rebellious connection of three American art forms: punk rock, hip-hop, and craft brewing. Our state-of-the-art stage hosts regional and national acts all-year-round, strengthening our sentiment that the enjoyment of a beautiful beer while listening to original music at the same time is an exponentially awesome experience.

Great experience. Excellent food. Mediocre service. Waitress would disappear for more than 15 minutes had to ask others walking by for water refills, toppings for pizza, spoon for the chowder etc. The atmosphere is always chill. Preferred a booth seat and they were already full so we got a seat in the middle of the dining room at a table. Nice music good variety played. The food was excellent had bbq wings sauce was light and sweet and the wings were crispy w just a little bit of burnt flavoring. The corn chowder was good, would have been better served w a spoon so I could eat it hot… by the time we located another server it was lukewarm… We also for the old man and the sea wood fired pizza which was exceptional!! Will definitely be back for more soon! Loved the tropical sequel too!! 9% ABV

If you're visiting Rehoboth Beach and enjoy good beer, this place is a must!
We stopped by over the long weekend and had a short 10–20 minute wait for a table. The service was friendly, and the live band added a great atmosphere to the evening.

The beers were fantastic—especially the lagers, which pleasantly surprised us. We jumped straight to the entrées and ordered the “I Wanna Be Sedated” burger, fish and chips, and grilled chicken Caesar salad. Everything was well-prepared, with the burger being the standout—absolutely delicious.

We were a bit let down that they had run out of shrimp, so we couldn’t try the blackened shrimp tacos or get shrimp with the salad. Still, that didn’t take away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Great food, great music, and a great vibe overall!

I may not drink alcohol anymore, but I love this brew pub. Yes they have plenty of their famous microbrews to choose from, after all they helped fuel the craft beer movement in the US, but they also have amazing food here too! The building is still fairly new (circa 2017) and is a much improved space then compared to its predecessor. The dining spaces are really cool especially if you can get a table in one of the barrel booths. They also have a massive stage where they host live music multiple times a week. Their wait staff is an amazing group of people. Did I mention their food? It is so good! Whether you are craving one of their pizzas, burgers, or something else….everything they serve is fantastic!
