This place offers an exceptional and truly memorable experience, far more intimate and engaging than a traditional zoo. From the moment we arrived, it felt more like a family outing or private wildlife encounter than a typical tourist attraction. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, creating an atmosphere that was both educational and heartwarming.

We had the rare opportunity to swim with the otters an experience that was not only interactive but genuinely joyful. Feeding the sloths was another highlight; getting that close to such unique and gentle creatures was unforgettable. Throughout the visit, we encountered a wide variety of fascinating animals, all well cared for in thoughtfully designed enclosures that emphasized interaction and enrichment.

This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. Whether you're an animal lover or simply looking for a unique outing, it's an experience worth every moment.

We did the Otter Swim and had a seamless check in process and a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable and the animals were fun and from what I can tell seemed happy and well cared for. We enjoyed the kangaroo petting time, the sloth feeding, and the capybara feeding.

The highlight of the visit was the otter swim. We were in the pool with 8 total guests and two of the otters (Neptune and Jake). The otters played and interacted with us both inside the pool and out. Wouldn’t have asked for it any otter way.

The only drawback to this place we noticed is that they don’t keep the front constantly staffed so we noticed some people waiting for a while at the check in location without being helped. Also, I had been trying to plan a proposal to coincide with the otter swim and in the weeks leading up to the experience was unable to reach them via email or phone. So I kind of had to just play it by ear without knowing fully what to expect or what my options might be. They were helpful via email up until I booked the experience, then crickets.

I took my wife for her birthday/mothers day. We had the best time!!. We did the whole tour along with the Otter Swim. The tour was great as we really felt like we got to know the animals on a personal level and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and they all seemed to genuinely love the animals and their well being. But the best part was the Otter Swim. We went in to this very excited but also not 100% sure how it would go. I can say this was one of the coolest things we have ever done.. You basically get almost an hour with the Otters and you really really interact with them. We made memories that will last a lifetime .. The otters were so fun climbing all over and even in our pockets.. Thanks Coastal Wilds for allowing me to create such amazing memories..
